1. Description of Service
QRGenPlus provides a free, browser-based QR code generation tool that allows users to create QR codes for URLs, plain text, WiFi network credentials, and file share links. The Service is entirely client-side: all QR encoding happens within the user's web browser. QRGenPlus operates no backend database, stores no user data, and maintains no user accounts.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using QRGenPlus, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use QRGenPlus only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate QR codes that link to malware, phishing websites, ransomware, or any other malicious software.
- Create QR codes intended to deceive, defraud, or harm others.
- Generate QR codes that encode illegal content including, but not limited to, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content promoting terrorism, or content that violates any applicable law.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, or reproduce the Service or its underlying code for commercial redistribution without written permission.
- Use automated scripts or bots to generate QR codes at scale in a manner that degrades service for other users.
- Misrepresent QRGenPlus as your own product or claim ownership of the Service.
QRGenPlus reserves the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
4. Intellectual Property
The QRGenPlus name, logo, website design, written content, and code architecture are the intellectual property of QRGenPlus and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. The QR code output files you generate are yours — you retain full ownership of the QR codes you create and may use them for any lawful personal or commercial purpose without restriction.
QRGenPlus uses the open-source qrcode-styling library (MIT License) for QR generation. The use of open-source components does not transfer ownership of the QRGenPlus platform to users.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. QRGENPLUS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE QR CODES GENERATED WILL BE READABLE BY ALL SCANNERS OR DEVICES.
You are solely responsible for testing the QR codes you generate before using them in critical applications such as product packaging, printed materials, or public signage.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QRGENPLUS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — EVEN IF QRGENPLUS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL QRGENPLUS'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED ZERO DOLLARS ($0.00) GIVEN THAT THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.
7. Third-Party Links and Content
The Service may contain links to third-party websites (such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and Imgur) as part of the file-sharing workflow guide. These links are provided for user convenience only. QRGenPlus does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party websites, services, or content. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
8. Advertising
QRGenPlus displays advertisements through Google AdSense. Advertisements displayed on the Service are served by Google and are subject to Google's advertising policies. QRGenPlus is not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
9. Modifications to the Service
QRGenPlus reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
