QRGenPlus was built on a simple belief: great tools should be accessible. We offer free, unlimited static QR codes for anyone who needs them — no login required, no scan limits, no watermarks. For businesses and professionals who need more — real-time scan analytics, editable destinations, custom short URLs, and PDF uploads — we offer a Pro subscription at a straightforward price.
We built QRGenPlus because most QR code tools on the market are either too limited, too expensive, or too loaded with dark patterns. We wanted to change that.
What QRGenPlus Offers
QRGenPlus is a two-tier platform:
- Free static QR codes — Generate QR codes for URLs, Wi-Fi, vCards, SMS, email, and plain text. All encoding happens in your browser. No account required. Download as PNG, SVG, or WEBP.
- Pro dynamic QR codes — Create short-link QR codes whose destination URL can be changed at any time without reprinting the code. Includes real-time scan analytics (country, device, OS, browser), password protection, custom short IDs, and smart device routing (iOS vs Android).
What Makes Us Different
Most "free" QR code generators online are not truly free. They use your codes as an opportunity to collect marketing data, enforce scan limits, or show intrusive upsells. QRGenPlus approaches this differently:
- Static QR codes are truly free: Your data is encoded directly into the QR image. There is no redirect, no shortlink, and no dependency on any QRGenPlus server for the code to work.
- No scan limits on static codes: QR codes you generate are yours forever. Use them as many times as you like.
- Transparent pricing for Pro: Dynamic QR codes are a Pro feature with a clear, simple subscription. No hidden fees or per-scan charges.
- Privacy-first analytics: Scan tracking collects country-level geolocation, device type, OS, and browser. We do not track individual users or collect personal data from scanners.

qrcode-stylinglibrary (MIT License) — static codes never leave your browser. - Backend (Pro features): Node.js with Express 5, PostgreSQL database, and Razorpay for subscription management.
- Infrastructure: Hosted on a secure cloud server with Cloudflare as our CDN and DDoS protection layer.
